beginning of a special week for the school. sec 1-3 had their camp. school only left us sec 4 and 5s. whole week of special programmes planned out such as archery, dining etiquette course, workshops and speeches.

had a 2 hour long english workshop which was. boring. to. the. max. luckily recess was extended by 15minutes and english was kinda cut short. maths test was postponed and amaths was kinda confusing with kinematics.

had beep test during PE today and failed terribly. current leading the score is PS and louis from 4E2 (8-something) and nicholas foo from 4E2 (11-something).

got back bio test paper....which I did badly..22/40. nearly failed.
for geog test, got 18/25...A2

emaths lesson was pretty funny with john standing on the chair and being spotted by LSK. and getting shooted by LSK, iggy and ka chun.

did some NE Test or whatnot saying that if we fail the test we will not be graduated from montfort. got "Expert Builder" rank which is like the 2nd best.

today is the 15th day of the lunar new year aka 元宵节 (yuan xiao jie) and morning assembly kinda evolved into the yuan xiao jie celebration with distribution of 1 tang yuan per student. after that, the school proceeded to the hall where announcements of badminton, rugby and sepak takraw thrashing their opponent team....no to mention chants of "half day".
after that was song performance by mr. azman, mr. lee, mr. yeo and mr. . song was mostly about montfort and the birthday of the big boss and after which was proceeded by birthday song singing to mr. simen from the school.

had chem, geog and amaths test after that.

Happy New Year to all!

watched alvins and the chipmunk on the afternoon of new year's eve then heading over to vivo to meet up with ko and friends.

been to the countdown at the esplanade area, freaking awesome though it was uberly crowded. lots of mat and bangla

school is again opened and the sec 3 batch of this year are all rather......vertically challenged..

and for sec 1s there are tons of students from china.

still got lots of holiday homework left unfinished.

sec 3 life was very different from sec 2. new class, new friends, new classmates and not to mention, new enemies.

went to the anime expo otherwise known as "EOY'07" today at the singapore expo. went with ham,cy and jere gan. was a little deserted at start but in the end it was filled with cosplayers and visitors.

History Classroom

freaking heavy rain in the morning and had to do PE on the soggy field. slacked and chatted with SW about World in Conflict. had amaths test after that which was.....uneventful and chinese after that was rather interesting. got some "new student" in our class who was obviously a troublemaker for the teacher and he bought pau for poh shen by throwing it through the backdoor after going to the canteen. and someone passed a note with "There are footsteps on the ceiling" written on it and anyone who looks up...well...good luck..

got english after recess and had to mark our holiday assignments and then chem after that was rather fruitful with all the elements and stuff. english again but class was dismissed when we had finished copying the answer and had partial free period afterthat (early dismiss for others).
geog was boring as hell as usual and Digital Fortress from paul was rather nice to read.

and IT CCA after geog was rather fun with all the plasticine moulding..

Day 1

woke up at 6.30am today and took bus 74 to amk to meet up with anurag at the bus stop. then me, rag and adam boarded bus 74 and went to ngee ann poly without ke ping.

journey was 1 hour+ in total and the bus was rather empty for some reason. reached NP at around 8.15am and went to Electrical Engineering Division Block 23 which was a rather long walk/exploring. registered outside the lecture hall and got our permit passes and some "freebies" *coughhighlightercough*. was waiting for the first event to start and then saw jeremy gan and his E4 mates. the first event was an introduction to EE Division, NP and to solar power/electrical theory/whatever which made most of the students asleep.

everyone was dismissed and had a tea break and then ke ping finally arrived. our allocated teacher was mr. salleh or whatnot. went to our room where we did some practice soldering and then lunch. went around NP to explore after we had our lunch and came back to the room to do some serious work. all the students were given a printed circuit board and some electrical components for us to solder into the board accordingly. went home after we did our soldering, tuning of the circuit boards and played around with the solar racer with our PCB in it.

today's the real shit. went to NP via bus 74 and went to our respective rooms and collected our PCB cards. competition was due on 10.15am where the sun is the strongest(they say).

day started with a exceptionally boring maths lesson on congruency of triangles. the class was dead quiet due to the boring-ness level of the lesson. bio was next and kingston and ka chun got scolded for talking away and loudly while azman was teaching. chem was boring too but learnt about salts and stuff.

physics after recess and it was a rather interesting class with all the "Q&A" session, "punishments" and jokers around. IT was rather okay with the whole class played around with apple isight and photoshop.
SS was rather interesting. learnt about Northern Ireland and Brits and talked to alif much throughout the lesson.

mass workout was cancelled due to rain. physics was okay with temperature and stuff. chinese lesson was cancelled as the teacher was not here due some reasons. whole class went crazy with mass merging of tables, plugging MP3s into the speakers, singing with the microphones used by the teachers, etc.

had trigo test after the "chinese lesson". paper was rather easy but time was not enough as the teacher arrived kinda late. after recess, had some essay writing workshop by our Dear Lord Simen to improve our english. pretty boring and many people fell asleep in the hall. had amaths and geog after that.

had indoor mass workout today due to the brewing storm clouds and after the workout and morning assembly, the rain was pretty heavy and value ed lesson are pretty boring.

for chinese, the teacher showed us some pics of her trip in China. pretty interesting stuff.

learned some 3D problems for emaths and after recess, had physics SPA on refraction.
some guys had to do push ups after the lesson because of some works that are not submitted.

went to Cafe @ Mont or whatnot to slack around and played some pool when packing up the place.

day started with PE with some pretty good soccer games. then amaths for corrections and learned about trigo stuff. chinese class was insane with the whole class playing the "bluetooth" game by changing our bluetooth name to some other...."names".
there was no assembly and teacher treated us pizza for some reasons...tasted rather good actually. chem was up next and learned about ionic eqns and slept for the whole period during geog without the teacher knowing.

national day celebration today. MJS + MSS assembled at the school field and the flag bearers marched to the flag pole. sang the national anthem and recited the pledge. principal of MJS then gave the national day message...she sounded like Dolores Umbridge o_O"

went back to the learning hub for class celebration while waiting preparations in the hall. had tidbits and the cake which teacher bought with the money provided by the school. went to hall after that for the mr. montfort thingy and song singing session.

went to heartland mall today to take a look at the performance by the school band. mdm punitha, faith yeo, tan geok hean and adrian leow(sp?) was there too. the band performed 5(4?) pieces (star wars theme, he's a pirate, the incredibles and the other 2(1?) which i forgotten)

the chorale went up to perform after the band's performance. sang the national day songs "There's No Place I'd Rather Be" and "Will You".

went for addi maths remedial. learnt about Linear Law after missing several amaths lessons due to MC and understood pretty much. NCDCC was having their investiture or something and a red rhino came to our school to simulate a life saving scenario or something. i pity the volunteer victims who got dragged around.

got my amaths loggyrithm test back and...finally i passed my first test after countless of remedials..those saturdays surely paid off..

got bio prac next where we gotta dissect a sheep's heart...my group got the second turn and the heart was basically...torn and ripped by the first group...
for a start, the smell is rather...interesting...and the heart is rather soft and bouncy..the arteries/veins is rather squelchy, soft, wet, tight and cold but not slimey at all...

emaths was on further trigo which i couldnt understand a thing with those sin/cos/tan going on...

woke up extra early just to go to school to pass up my bio homework and to "help" out in the event. sat in the classroom from 7.30am to 8.00am staring at the ceiling.

morning assembly with english pledge and the...racial harmony creed. went to the hall for some talk about religon-ish stuffs. while the stall is being set up.

sales were rather good. all items were sold out within 1 hour. marshmallow + chocolate fondue and that muffin by alif is wow.

day started off with the rallies by the candidates for the president of the student council in the hall. the q&a session was rather boring at first until nearing the end. one guy actually asked whether there will be a roti pratha stall in the canteen and the last one got a rather heated/intense conversation with the sara.

chem prac was fun today. first time having a chem prac after all the theory lessons from the start of the year.

had open book test for SS which i copied almost everything from the textbook and iggy went kinda cranky.

"Of course winning is all nice and well, but having been on the loosing end of some “Daddy Matches” myself, I took some time to chat up the other players. Most prominent was Lucas Choy, who at 11 was easily the youngest competitor. Even more surprising was that while Lucas was there, so was his father Amos Choy, who is extremely supportive of his son’s gaming hobby. At a mere age of 7, Lucas entered the WCG qualifiers for Halo. Although he didn’t really win, he continued to participate over the years, and making it to the selection rounds on one occasion. His father Amos looking on proudly as his son played, explaining that he only allowed Lucas some play time if he was doing well in studies (Lucas is a top class student too from Monfort Jr, and quite the celebrity with his school mates). Mr Choy has even taken this initiative to his son’s school, setting up an XBOX corner that only permits students with good grades to play. Unfortunately, Lucas got knocked early on in the competition. While he did not win, he definitely drew plenty of “ahh so cute”s from the ladies present."

day started off with some string of good news...and the boss giant assured us that we will not get half day off but FULL DAY off instead in the future...amaths got fucked by getting 7/30...and the whole class got screamed by howard tan for being noisy...got really tired during the singing session during assembly...and fell asleep and jiawei fucked around with my bag....missed geography lessons as usual...chinese was a FREAKY lesson...shawn and louis was cutting their..um...PUBIC HAIR...with scissors and dumping those crap on the table....and nicholas was plucking his PUBIC HAIR and putting on a book and showing off to us...

day started off with usual speech by the boss giant and i decided to sleep for a while instead with terence keeping a lookout for me. thanks dude. and daniel, sean, luqman and DIN got called up to the podium because they had ballz as stated by da boss giant...the expression on jaime was really funny when they got called up...she was sooooo shocked...

physics was horrifying...everybody was staring blankly at the paper....guess only like 5 person out of 41 will actually pass...

got some "special assembly" after recess and it was basically a farewell ceremony for chai yoke leng...but with some twist...apparently SOME GUY from 3E1(whos from 2E3 in year 2006) got screwed by the principal for SMSsing some junk regarding jaime...

from the torturous 512MB of RAM to the uber 1.2GB of RAM
from the hellish nvidia geforce fx 5500 to the l33t geforce fx 7300

and i even had the Razer Habu mouse....

but im still not really happy about my computer. why? it still fucking run on AGP graphic cards

1) The second video spot released from Battlefield 2142: Northern Strike shows an assault on the new IFV Goliath. The IFV seems to be able to resist a lot; could you give us some hints on how to take it out?

The Goliath is a beast, and will take a coordinated assault to take out. The key to its survivability is the self repair system, which is powered by six repair cells mounted on the hull of the Goliath. These need to be taken out to reduce its repair ability. Once enough of the repair cells are taken out you have to concentrate your firepower on the Goliath. The trick is to damage it so fast that the repair system can't keep up, so have a couple of squad mates help you out.

2) In what way can the Goliath support infantry?

As an infantryman, having the Goliath next to you will always make you feel a lot safer. First of all it's a solid protection against enemy fire, once things get to hot, jump in the Goliath to catch your breath. It also lays down an incredible amount of covering fire for anyone nearby. Few enemies dare to engage infantry within the Goliath's fighting radius. The Goliath also heals and rearms friendly infantry nearby - you'll never run out of ammo when you're close to this baby.

so much for those cheering and supporting from the whole school.............

wasted the whole morning singing and cheering some weird stuff under the hot sun..but at least we got a 1 hour recess...

the bus ride was kinda insane with all my classmates singing Majulah Singapura...and middle finger pointing with the other class' bus...

the sports complex was...well big and kinda cramped...started off with some "kallang" wave thingy and cheering...somewhere in the mid game jun jie started to cheer really loudly and others took part in the cheering...and after a while...the VIP came in and montfort kinda went insane...

basically the competition was exciting at first (kinda) but gradually getting boring towards the end...

almost everybody was sleeping during the bus ride back...and got a dental checkup when i got back...i was the last to go and the dental clinic sounded like a construction site when everybody had to do some "scaling" to remove those hard chunks on our teeth...

just got back from Funan mall from a BF2142 competition with |JEDI|...lost just by TWO FUCKING TICKETS.....but it was a good experience...met some "celebrities" of the BF2142 world...like Noobish-noob aka the first Supreme Commander in the world...and Bondo who is first in BF2142 in singapore..also saw Team Titans played CS:S with Synergy while we are waiting for our turn to play...

the |JEDI| walked away with........S$150...which is then shared among 8 players...but the Bf.Nut team walked away with a nVidia 8800 GTX graphics card PER MEMBER few days back...

just got back from the expo today...went to SITEX..and wow..it was just packed with people...laptops..desktops...HDTVs....girls...you name it...weird that not much computer hardware like RAM, gfx etc. is sold....went over to the Big Boyz Toyz to have a walk and to look around..nothing much...only cars and some stuff to pimp the cars...but there was a curious area in the Big Boyz Toyz exhibit which was covered with a tall white fence thingy...sad that im not 18 yet or else i may have entered it...guess it is where the mud wrestling is located...
